Pediatric Speech-Language & Literacy Services has been working with children for over 30 years.
The family is at the heart of our practice. We provide world class speech and language services to help children and young adults with all forms of communication challenges. We always keep in mind the circle of learning from spoken to written language (receptive language, expressive language, social language, reading and writing) so they evolve into life long learners.
We work with all budgets. Our insurance partners are Aetna, Cigna, Blue Cross/Blue Shield, United Health Care and Anthem. We also take private payment.

WHAT WE DO
- We help with articulation, written language, speech and reading delays, Dyslexia, executive functions, specific language impairment, social language (including Asperger's and high functioning Autism), fluency/stuttering and voice disorders.
We do thorough, accurate diagnostic evaluations.
We develop programs to improve speech intelligibility, social and language competency to immediately improve academic performance.
We provide oral motor and feeding support.
We help advocate for you to highlight important goals at your PPT or IEP meetings.
We provide in-home support when requested for toy selection, executive function organization, language-based academic intervention including home schooling support.
We always use blended technology to enhance the circle of learning-life!

A NOTE FROM OUR DIRECTOR
Communication is the key to a life of connection and we are deeply passionate about this work. I believe in working with the whole child, rather than working on one isolated issue and I think that is a key to our success. Even after 30 years, I still love one-of-a-kind interactions with little ones and am always excited to work with young adults. Additionally, our staff supports family centered non-verbal and verbal communication to facilitate a wonderful circle of learning. We proudly help establish attention, efficient processing, and the ability to manipulate spoken and written word to create communicative competence.
Typically referred by pediatricians and listed by schools, we encourage parents and other professionals to inquire about our programs. We also consult for private schools on curriculum development and perform screenings to detect language processing and dyslexia early. You can reach us here:
